While pursuing his passion for the outdoors studying Environmental Science in the Adirondack Mountains of New York at Paul Smith’s College and Plattsburgh State University his passion for food and hospitality was ignited.
Chef Litts Followed his new found passion
Chef Litts Followed his new found passion to Schenectady County Community College Culinary Arts Program and upon graduation moved to Napa Valley Ca. It is here that Chef Litts honed his skills in French technique fused with global flavors. Litts’ chefing experiences range from fine dining at the Michelin star rated, Martini House Restaurant as Chef De Cuisine, to Fine Casual dining as a partner in the Kitchen Door, all under the tutelage of his mentor Todd Humphries.
Chef Litts landed in Savannah GA, closer to family, and the city he now calls home.
Chef Litts made his way back to the East Coast via a stint at the Camellia Cafe in Fairhope AL, where he helped his friend, and one time student, Ryan Glass, raise the Cafe to best fine dining in AL for 3 consecutive years. Ultimately, Chef Litts landed in Savannah GA, closer to family, and the city he now calls home.
Upon arriving in Savannah Chef Litts took on a corporate Chef Position with Ele and The Chef, when he realized he needed to return to his love of cooking and hospitality on a more intimate level with time to enjoy the outdoors and family. Chef Litts founded The Curated Chef to provide an instantly gratifying experience for his clients through his attention to detail and love for food and hospitality. Chef Litts offers a variety of services from a casual, yet chic, family style 3 course menu, to elaborately curated 4 course custom experiences and curated custom cocktail/social hors devours events.
